Childrens Church
We believe the church has a responsibility to teach our children the Word of God and train them to walk in His ways. The church stands behind and reinforces the Christian training that your children receive at home. At WOL we have Childrens Church on Sunday morning, for children age 4 through 12 years. Your child can participate in activities, skits, drama, and Bible lessons on "their level". As a childrens ministry, the greatest compliment we receive is a child's request, "Mom, can we go to church today? I can't miss Childrens Church!" It is our desire to meet the spiritual needs of your child. You will find WOL Childrens Church Ministry to be a perfect fit for your child!
Mighty Men of Valor
We at Word of Life believe in the ability and influence of a godly man. Our society has done everything in its power to show men as buffoons, or as children, instead of the leaders they were created to be. The time has come for men to take their rightful place in the Kingdom of God, the Family and the Church. Our communities are in desperate need of men who walk in true honor and integrity.

In Genesis 1: 26 God said,"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth".

Men are created in the image of almighty God. What a powerful calling. I believe it is time to speak to the potential locked inside every man. In our culture it is acceptable to lie, steal and cheat. In our homes, our business and even in the political realm it is seen as the way to get ahead. We believe there is a better way.

King David was a man that made a lot of mistakes (as we all have) but when it was time to go to battle for the future of Israel, he began to surround himself with Mighty Men Of Valor. Men who valued things like honesty, loyalty, and family. Nothing deterred these men as they came together in unity. Our desire is to accomplish the same thing, to unlock the man God designed you to be
Women of Excellence
Women of Excellence is our ministry to the women of our church and community. We meet for teaching, prayer, relationship building and fellowship. Featuring various speakers and teachers, each meeting is fresh, timely and practical for both single and married women. Once a year, a weekend retreat is planned for a time of fun and spiritual growth for the women of our church.

Our Women of Excellence meetings are designed to be a great time of encouragement as you join other women facing the same challenges of everyday living. "Training Women in Godly Excellence" is our motto and desire for the women of our church and community. Join us at our next meeting, for an exciting and rewarding time together!

Music Ministry
Music was created by God and is a powerful avenue to express our heartfelt praise to the Lord and our genuine worship for who He is and and all He has done in our lives. Psalm 150:6 says "Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord". What a privilege to stand in His presence and voice our love for Him through songs of praise and worship. At Word of Life, we don't "have" to praise God, we "enjoy the privilege" of "coming boldly before His throne" (Heb. 4:16) to express our gratitude and celebrate God's goodness.

We believe that Praise and Worship should be reflected in the lifestyle of the Christian everyday but there is something very powerful in the corporate praise of a body of believers. God said He would inhabit the praises of His people and it is our desire, during the celebration services, that the presence of God fill every part of our church.

Our worship team of musicians, singers, choir, sound and projection technicians are a vital part of Word of Life vision to lead our congregation in exuberant praise and passionate worship.

Youth 4 Life = 4 Relationships God, Family, Church and Friends
Word of Life believes in our teens and their role in God's Kingdom plan. God is moving in our young people and they are an important part of our ministry to this community. The Word of Life youth group meets every Wednesday for Bible study on relevant issues facing today's young people and provides an awesome time of just "hangin' out" with other Christian teens!

It's a great place to bring your friends and to reach others for Jesus! Our teens are not the church of tomorrow, they ARE a part of the church of TODAY!
Missions
Matthew 28:19, 20 is the Great Commission not the "Great Suggestion." Word of Life is a firm believer in overseas missions. Rather than supporting many missionaries with a small amount, we have focused our missions effort on specific projects in selected countries.
Spiritual Development Classes
At Word of Life, we want to help you grow in your personal walk with Jesus Christ. We offer the following classes to assist you:

Class 101: This class will help you gain an understanding of the mission and vision of WOL.

Class 201: This class will help you understand the basics of Christian growth and development.

Class 301: This class will help you find out what your specific personality, gifts, and talents are so that you can be effective in your ministry and purposeful in life.

Class 401: This class will help you understand your part in reaching out to others in the community with the love of God.
